Dr. Sam Isitor holds the Doctorate degree (Agric. Economics) of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (1993). He has had a rich and variegated experience in the corporate and financial sectors of the Nigerian economy.

From 1991 – 1999, he worked with the Nigerian Agricultural and Cooperative Bank Limited, Kaduna, leaving there as the Head of the Research Unit. His duties encompassed the co-ordination of research and planning activities in the Bank, articulation of research proposals, data collection, collation and analysis as well as writing of research reports, preparation of articulate and well researched Executive Speeches and Conference/Seminar papers for the CEO of the Bank.

From 2004 – 2012, he worked as a Senior Manager with the Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, where his duties covered economic research aimed at improving the competitiveness and efficiency of the Bank, review of financial and business publications as well as government policies to identify the opportunities and threats to the bank’s operations and recommend appropriate strategic options.

He has also worked as a Senior Lecturer with the Landmark University, Omu-Aran, Kwara State. He brings to the Advisory Board a rich knowledge of the local and international financial markets
